November 11 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
"Hell on Earth"
Well, the month of October was not looking
too bright for me from the start,
as I was nursing a stretched ligament on
my right elbow. Originally, I was
scheduled to face Havok in Midlothian,
which I sadly had to cancel due to
this injury. Not once in my three years
had I cancelled on a promoter or
the fans, but the future use of
my arm depended on this critical time for
healing. However, with excellent
work from my physical therapist and
dedication to following the strict
diet and training program I was provided,
I would not stay out of the ring
over two weeks. Although the elbow was
extremely tender on the day of the
upcoming Revolution show, I decided I
would 'styc' to my booking and step
into the ring. With my arm heavily
taped and guarded, I prepared myself
to battle Machine, Cru Jones, and Apollo Starr
for the Altenative title. On most nights, even if I were the
underdog, I would have no problem
jumping through the ropes and giving the
people everything I had. I am for
the most part fearless, but on this
night, I feared for my health.
Several times throughout the match, I felt
the pain surge from my fingertips
to my shoulder, most noticably when I was
using that arm to strike. So, being
as that the first pinfall would win the
title, I wisely stepped back and
picked my spots. My decision would soon
lead to Apollo and I in the ring,
and I didn't want to waste any time. I
clocked that punk ass in the face
with the belt, pinned him, and went home
the champ.

The following week would start off Friday night in Bloomington,
IL for Josh Granings' Mid State Pro.
I kept my arm taped and secured, and
jumped into the ring for the much
anticipated return of the
Styc-It-In-Express. "The Pocket Rocket",
the Superstar, he may look little
but he sticks it in far, Eric Marx
teaming with the Wisconsin Home Wrecker,
the Ring Rat Trap, the King of Styc-It-In,
the 'Superstud', Stryc-9.
Together we double teamed our adversaries,
the "Void Effect", and made our
triumphant tag team return. The
elbow was fine and the momentum was
definetely rolling.

In 24 hours, I would be in the ring with Jason Allen
and former tag partner, "Airborne",
competing in a 3-Way Ladder Match for the
Primetime Wrestling Midwest Title.
Not even before the night was over, the
flu I had been trying to keep at bay
hit me. Nonetheless, I "styc" to my
original plans and partied a bit with
the guys at their nearby room, and
made the best of the upcoming day.
The
site was amazing as those who
attended witnessed Bishop's Boys bust
their asses in the midst of
professional entrance videos and
brilliant lighting. The ladder match was
main event, set to crown the first
ever Primetime championship title holder
with the Midwest title. Low on energy,
but high on adrenaline, Eryn and I
prepared to go on stage. The tunnel
vision kicked in the moment we burst
through the curtain, I hear nothing
but my own thoughts, and see no more
than two feet all around me. I am
in the moment. The match began pretty
quickly and my illness would soon
become obvious, as I would take the most
of the punishment. Somewher in the mix,
I am stopped by Airborne atop the
ladder, where he hooks my head for a DDT
and drives my head into the mat
from 10 feet. My eyes blink, fingers twitch,
and the rest of the match
would be completely blank. I have a banged
up elbow, I have the flu, I have
a concussion, and somehow after this
unbelievable torture, I have the gold.
But the next three days,
would prove to be Hell.
Signing off...--The "Superstar"...
October 10 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
September proved to be yet another busy month for me,
the "Superstar" Eric Marx. Right off of an
awesome victory over my trainer
and mentor Brandon bishop, I was
given the opportunity to work with
the legendary Shark Boy.
The Metropolis Maniacs were rowdy, plenty
of faces were out to see Vito back in Chicago,
and The RCW fans were all firmly
behind Sharky. But in the end, it was my time
to shine, as I put the finned one's
shoulders (gills?) to the mat for the 1-2-3.
Of course, my spotlight was
shortlived as I would later
end up face-to face with Machine, who saw it
fit to tear me limb for limb to become the first RCW
Alternative Champion. Now... not to brag, but I heard
plenty of people cheering the Superstar
on as I went up against the big man, and it was
obvious that I was a favorite to win.
Thank God Jay Repsel isn't blind or deaf,
as I will be given a second chance
to capture the Alternative title
in a fatal four way with Machine, Apollo Starr,
and Cru Jones later this month.
Speaking of Cru Jones, I faced him
one-on-one in Big Bend, Wisconsin for
MAW a few weeks ago. RCW
hasn't seen much of him yet,
so I'll be the first to say that he really is one bad mo fo!

Cru is actually the reason I will be unable to
compete this weekend for the LWF.
Sometime during the beating
he gave me during the match, my arm was injured,
tearing apart ligaments at the elbow joints.
As of right now, I just can manage to lift 5 lbs
with my right arm. So unfortunately, I will be
on the sidelines this weekend, hopefully healing properly
and getting back to 100%. And While I'm talking LWF,
though, I would like to say Happy Birthday
to Lunatic fan Jill. For all who know
Crazy Jill, please wish her the same should you
happen to see her on the 12th.

And while we're all wishing, wish me luck as
I step into the ring October 26th
for what may be the biggest match of my
career. Superstar Eric Marx,
Jason Allen, and my former tag team partner,
Airborne Vito Thomaselli in a 3 way
Ladder Match for the Primetime Wrestling
Midwest Championship. To all th die hard
indy fans in or around Chicago, if
you see any indy show any time soon,
make it this one. Led by I-8 tournament
winner "Physical Fascination" Brandon Bishop, the Primetime
roster consists of several of the Primetime
students, also known as "Bishop's Kids".
Primetime Wrestling has much to offer, and most of it is
potential! October 26th,
Primetime Wrestling, the stars will be out, and I
plan on climbing the rungs of success and capturing the gold!

September 10 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
So I've been pretty damn busy as of late. From defeating my trainer and
mentor Brandon Bishop on August 10th,
my trip to Hastings, Minnesota for the
Neo-Pro cruiserweight tournament, a phenomenal match
with Ego in RCW, to my MIAW debut in Milwaukee,
defeating Mike Mercury and Triple "J"
in a Triple Threat match. Not to mention my
ranking of #9 on Chicago Wrestling.com, its
been quite a month for the Superstar!

But the future holds more for me,
I am shooting for the stars!
The biggest news right now, Primetime Wrestling
announces it's debut show for October
26th in Peotone. Peotone is one of the simplest
places to get to, and isn't too far to
travel for most of you indy fans.
Brandon Bishop has been training these guys for almost two years,
this isn't just another bunch of kids
running a promotion. This is Brandon's heart and soul,
all in one place, at one time.
It's time to put up or shut up,
and bring respect back to the business!

Enough said about that, this coming week
I team up with Acid, to face the Obnoxious Frat Boys
in the LWF. I hold a victory over Acid,
but that is behind us, The Frat Boys need to be shut up.
I've faced off against these two several times, and they are responsible
for injuring my traditional tag
partner, Stryc-9. I beat Double M,
I made Johnny Mac eat dog food, and this Saturday,
they get bitch slapped!

September 21st, LaSalle, Il, Revelution Championship Wrestling.
I step into the ring once again to attempt
to put on a spectacle of my talent.
I am scheduled to face off with Shark Boy.
Jesus, Ego was enough, but now this guy?
It pisses me off that I can't see the fear
in these guys eyes when I'm ripping them to shreds.
What are the trying to hide behind those silly masks anyway?
Nonetheless, Sharky beware, I'm hungry for
some shark meat, and your my next meal. hahaha!

And after I'm through with you,
I plan on winning the Alternative title and
spitting in Marvin's face!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaaha!!!!!!!!
-"Superstar" signing off...
July 28 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
Well I'm back, finally got a few minutes
out of my crazy schedule, and I got a lot on my mind.
First of all, I would like to wish CM Punk well and give props to Vic Capri,
the toughest SOB I've ever known. And while I'm at it I would like to thank Acid for
being the athlete he is and giving me the match of my life! Now, I've been on a little
winning streak in the LWF, having lost the tag titles, but defeating
Johnny Mac and making him eat dog food! And although it was controversial,
I hold another win over Acid, its on the books!

While I am doing well for
myself in the LWF, I have had two losses recently in RCW. This is by far the
worst place to wrestle, ever! Old, drunken fans taking off their clothes
and trying to fight me, kids flicking me off and yelling obscenities at me,
calling Eryn a crackwhore! It's no wonder I can't concentrate enough to
put my opponent away! This is why my attitude changes every time I am in
LaSalle, because those people just have no respect! Now I'm scheduled to
face off against Egotistico Fantistico. In the summary of our match, it label
him the beer guzzling, big wheel riding luchadore. I've seen him grab
the fans beer and get wasted before his match. Just know this, Ego, I
will run circles around you at Day of Reckoning. For one, I don't have to
try to do somehting just to impress those redneck people in LaSalle,
and two, I'll be sober!

But now, going back to the LWF, the BIG news.
August 10th Midlothian, I am scheduled to face my professional trainer
and long time friend, Brandon Bishop. I don't know what his problem is, but
lately we haven't seen eye to eye. Brandon has gotten an ego ever since joining
with Billy Whack, and his win at the I-8 tournament didn't humble him any.
Whatever the reason, personal ignorance, or business, Brandon and
I don't seem like that good of friends anymore. On the 10th, we'll find out
how well we really do know each other,
or do I have more up my sleeve than he knows?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

March 24 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
It's me, it's me, it's the one and only...Superstar!
Just wanted to thank everyone for all the support at my
last few shows. This past weekend me
and Stryc-9 stuck it in with every punk in
attendance at LWF's "Riot", even though we
were robbed of the tag titles.
Check out the detailed results at
i8wrestling.com.
Also, hats off to Acid and
LWF champ Ryan Boz who worked their a**es off to
give the fans what I thought was a 5-star match.
I will admit that Acid's 450
put me to shame for the night,
but stay tuned for what I have coming next!

By the way, come to the LWF show April 13 in
Midlothian, IL to catch me in action once again!
Paybacks a B-!

HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa! - Superstar
March 14 - Commentary and News...from the "Superstar"!
First of all, I would like
to thank all of you for coming to this site
and bowing down to the "Superstar"!
For the year of 2002, I have
decided to show the Midwest scene,
especially the Chicago area,
that I am the best lightweight around!
I have been on the indy scene for over
two years now and I am sick of being
held down by promotions that push
Stone Cold look-alikes!
2002 is MY year...so stay tuned...
and "STYCK IT IN"!
-Yours truly,
"Superstar" Eric Marx
